Morning: walk in Bellinzona* (the castles and the historical center)
afternoon: outing in Valley Verzasca (Sonogno museum, Frasco mill, Brione church, Verzasca dam in Vogorno with Info-Point), or in Valley Maggia (Walser village of Bosco Gurin, Valley Bavona with Foroglio waterfall).
Day 2
Morning: visit Locarno* (Piazza Grande, Città Vecchia, Visconti castle).
afternoon: boat trip to the Brissago Islands (Botanical Park) and a brief visit of Ascona in the evening
Day 3
Morning: brief visit of Lugano* (historical center) and ascend to Monte San. Salvatore or Monte Bré with the funicular from Lugano.
afternoon: boat trip to Melide (visit Swissminiatur) or trip to the Chocolate Museum in Caslano.
